Daniel Gonzenbach

Owner and Senior Portfolio Manager

Daniel Gonzenbach began his career in 1981 with an apprenticeship at the Swiss Bank Corporation, where he gained valuable insights into various internal departments. In 1985, he expanded his knowledge at the stock market while working at NatWest's trading bank in Zurich.

Fascinated by stock market activities, he switched to the Japanese brokerage firm Yamaichi in 1991, where he first deeply engaged with convertible bonds. When UBS pushed the expansion in the convertible bonds sector in 1993, Daniel Gonzenbach embraced this challenge. However, the large bank was not his preferred environment, leading him to join Jefferies Switzerland in 1995, where he was responsible for selling Asian and European convertible bonds to his own clients.

In 1999, Daniel Gonzenbach joined Holinger Asset Management AG. He became a partner in 2006 and took over the company entirely as the sole owner in 2021.
