New PM Hiring: Leonardo Spangaro

Leonardo Spangaro to join Holinger Asset Management from January 2024.

He began his career in 2005 with a commercial apprenticeship at Zürcher Kantonalbank, followed by a trainee program in the corporate customer sector. In 2011, he moved to the investment world, spending four years in Investment Advisory, where he studied part-time and ultimately served as an Investment Specialist for affluent private clients.

In 2015, Leonardo Spangaro joined Fisch Asset Management, a Zurich-based asset manager specializing in convertible bonds. Over the next eight years, he advanced to Senior Portfolio Manager and Deputy Team Leader, responsible for various mutual funds and managing numerous direct mandates from institutional investors in the DACH region. He was nominated for the Portfolio Manager Award by Citywire in 2022 and 2023.

Since January 2024, he has been strengthening the team at Holinger Asset Management AG as a Senior Portfolio Manager.

Leonardo Spangaro holds a Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and studied at Cass Business School in London. He is also a CFA, CAIA, and CFA ESG Charterholder.

With a total of 18 years of experience in the financial industry, including over eight years as a portfolio manager in the area of ​​convertible bonds, Leonardo Spangaro brings extensive expertise to the Holinger Asset Management team.
